The men attempted to take the money from Thakur and after resistance, they attacked him, causing bleeding and injury to his hands. Thankfully, he was let out of car without major harm.
Oddly enough, police are also questioning Thakur and whether he was actually involved in the robbery himself. The report stated, “The police are also checking Thakur’s antecdents to ascertain if he had any role in the robbery, as it was surprising that a person could be forced into a vehicle in a crowded area like Cotton Exchange, said the police official, requesting anonymity.”
